Made by our bakers in Italy with 100% spelt — an historic wheat variety popular in Ancient Rome — these Piadina are perfect for making bite-sized versions of the folded street food sandwiches sold across the Emilia-Romagna region. Served warm, they’re deliciously soft and flaky with a subtly nutty flavour.

Flatbreads rather than wraps, piadina are authentically Italian street food staples from the Emilia-Romagna region, made to be folded, not rolled.
Our bakers in Italy craft these miniature Piadina with spelt wheat and extra virgin olive oil instead of the strutto (pork fat) used in the traditional recipe — a combination which gives these flatbreads their subtly nutty flavour and soft, flaky texture.
Traditionally served on the streets of Bologna wrapped around hot mozzarella or sliced mortadella, they’re equally delicious served with soup, stew, curry or salad — or topped with tomato sauce and mozzarella and served as mini pizzas. Mangiamo!Learn More
