Made at our Naples bakery, these authentic Italian cornetti are a light, sweet and airy breakfast favourite across the length and breadth of Italy.
Crafted with less butter and a little more sugar than their French cousin, the croissant, our artisan bakers make each buttery pastry from a lievito madre (‘Mother Dough’ in Inglese), slow-proved for 48 hours, in traditional fashion the dough has a subtle citrus flavour incorporated with delicate orange notes.
Each is then filled with a familiar favourite — our own, palm oil-free twist on the smooth chocolate hazelnut cream that’s been an ever-present part of Italian life (and Italian breakfasts) since the Second World War.
