Inspired by the traditional use of leftover focaccia in Genova, these moreish toasts are as delicious as they are versatile.
For centuries, focaccia has been served in all shapes and sizes across the Liguria region, and topped with all manner of things. And in the rare event that any focaccia was left uneaten, the locals would slice it, toast it, and devour it as a simple aperitivo at almost any time of the day.
